My phone is being slow, my computer doesn’t turn on, I receive nasty calls and messages from disgruntled clients, I am forgetting things, even the parents of the students I teach are throwing fits (nasty ones, at that!) Yes, it’s possible… If this sounds anything like you, keep reading because you are not the only one experiencing these things and you are most certainly not crazy.
- When Mercury is in retrograde, we panic
- When there is an eclipse of any kind, we panic
- When more than one planet is in retrograde, we panic
- We have a total of SEVEN planets in retrograde this summer (only 6 being Rx at the same time)… Are you screaming yet?
Mercury: Courtesy of NASA Like I said in an older post, planets seem to move backwards in the sky, almost like moon-walking in slow motion every now and again. The problem is, while they decide to dance the conga line backwards, it seems to set off some areas in your life as well.
- Mercury=communication
- Venus=love
- Mars: action & conflict
- Jupiter=knowledge
- Uranus=change & invention
- Neptune=planet of dreams
- Saturn=planet of the rules, the one in charge
The good news is, that only six of these planets will be in Rx at a time. (I know, right!) Now, there are specific precautions you can take to make sure you survive these Rx but the main thing is to hold your tongue, think, plan, and reflect. Oh, and of course be patient (the one virtue not everyone has all the time).
I find the planet that affects me the most is Mercury: it could be because I am a Libra and my element has to do with communication: air. Yet again, my planet is Venus, so I find myself in a bit of trouble when Venus is in Rx as well.
I actually found that by carrying Mercury Dimes, things did not get as hectic for me during Mercury Rx. You can add them to your mojo bag, put it inside your phone cover, put it inside your shoe, drill a hole in them and wear it as jewelry… The sky is the limit!
