…On tonight’s gloomy note, (check out my blogs on codependency and possible relapse)
I have realized that due to life’s turns, I barely have any friends. I went back to the definition of friend, according to The Free Dictionary and it states:

1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
2. A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
3. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
4. One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement: friends of the clean air movement.

1. To add (someone) as a friend on a social networking website.
2. Archaic To befriend.
- I know a lot of people but the ones I have trusted have almost always let me down.
- I like a lot of the people I know but not enough to trust them.
- I’m not too sure about comrades because I always end up helping them one way or another. It’s easier to talk to and advise someone else than it is to talk about yourself and seek out help.
